The weight of this product is approximately 4 grams of metal as a good quality sterling silver casting, and the genuine amethyst. The pendant is 1" in height by 1/2" wide by 3/8" deep. The large center stone has good mixed color, translucent clarity, and weighs just under 3 carats. The product is solid sterling silver; it is very shiny and bright and looks like platinum, as it has been protected with a precious rhodium onlay over solid sterling silver to prevent tarnish..."a very high end show venue display quality finish". In addition, this item has been sterilized with jeweler's solution and sealed in a plastic bag.
