New-Vintage 1952 German Lampwork Glass and Genuine Mother-of-Pearl from 1950s Bracelet
A lovely bracelet that measures a nice 8-1/4 inches end-to-end, but is for a 6.5to 7.5 inch wrist.
This bracelet is a beautiful bit of history. It combines lampwork beads that were made in 1952 in Germany and Mother-of-Pearl beads that were cut and dyed in the early 1950s in Japan. The lampwork beads are 12 mm in diameter and the Mother-of-Pearl gemstone beads are 4 mm in diameter.
One of the first industries to recover from WWII was the jewelry bead industry. Women needed to have something fairly inexpensive to wear to make them feel good about themselves after all of the suffering of the war and those who had been bead masters prior to the war knew that and revived their businesses as soon as it was safe to do so. Many of those first post war beads have survived and are on the market today. So, w have new but vintage and often antique (if you find pre WWI) beads.
Here I offer a few in this bracelet.
All of the findings used in the creation of this bracelet are Sterling Silver. The beading wire is silver Tigertail.
We only accept PayPal for payment. Payment is due within 3 days of the closing of the transaction unless you are getting other items then payment is due within a maximum of 4 days. On the 5th day the item will be relisted and a non-payment claim filed.
Returns are cheerfully accepted with in 7 days of receipt. You must contact us prior to making any returns. The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging. If the item is resalable you will receive 100% of the purchase price minus the shipping and handling fees. If the item is damaged or altered in any way you will receive 80% of the purchase price minus shipping and handling. There will be a $3.00 re-listing and re-stocking fee imposed on all returns. Return shipping is at your expense. There will be no deviation from this policy.
Shipping is through the Hellenic National Postal Service (ΕΛΤΑ). All items are shipped First Class International. All items are shipped based upon final weight of the package and with signature required upon delivery (registered). Please wait for your invoice if you are buying more than 1 set as I do combine shipping.

All shipping over-charges more than $2.00 will be refunded within 24 hours of shipping. GUARANTEED

1-50grams $8.00
51-100grams $12.00
101-150grams $16.00
151-200grams $20.00
Residents of GREECE have FREE SHIPPING on the first item. For additional items there will be a $2.00 charge for each item.
Shipping to the United States and Canada usually takes 7-14 days. Members of the European Union may get their items faster.
All other countries may take up to 3 weeks to receive their items.
