The Westmoreland Company began making Thousand Eye in the early 1930’s with the bulk, when most of these items were produced in the 1950’s. A very beautiful pattern, there were nearly 100 different pieces produced for any and all table settings and occasional pieces. The crystal pieces sparkle in the light, and some, when looking down at them at certain angles, reflect surrounding images in each “eye”, giving the pattern it’s very appropriate name. All of these offered are original Westmoreland Glass creations produced prior to the factory’s closing in 1984.  ****************** Here is an exquisite pair of Westmoreland Glass Candlesticks (TE-6) in the #1000 pattern, Thousand Eye in sparkling and elegant Crystal. Each one measures 5” tall and are in excellent condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. Very ornate, would be beautiful in use on your dining table or buffet or just as wonderful in a glass cabinet.
