VINTAGE JAPANESE PORCELAIN CHINA
1970’S - 1980’S
******************
Here is a selection vintage high quality white Japanese porcelain china for china painters and decorators, collectors or anyone who likes the pure white look of glazed porcelain. These belonged to my Mom who did extensive China painting from the late 1960’s until the late 1980’s. Extremely popular in the 70’s and 80’s, this last decade has seen a revival of this age old artistic technique, with an explosion of china painting clubs, classes and exhibitions. The pieces, objects of beauty that look great both white and painted, are in excellent condition, having been packed away for the last 2 decades and are from sources, such as Rynne’s China, Maryland China, Renaldi’s Fine China Japan, Otegri Mercantile Company of Japan (OTC) and more. So browse through the listings. The pieces speak for themselves and are exquisitely beautiful whether or not the intent is to paint them or to use and enjoy them as they are, in their pure white natural state.
