• MAKER:  Unknown

• PATTERN: Typical French key with numeral at the bottom

• ITEM:  6 Keys, 5 French, 1 Unknown, 19th century, most likely from the early to mid 1800's

• DISCUSSION:  We are offering in this auction 6 keys. I believe that five of them are French. I purchased them in Greenwich, UK about 10 years ago. I had several pieces of French furniture, like a buffet and comtoise that were missing their keys. I bought about 10 of them of different designs. (If you notice, the part of the key that fits in the lock, has a number there.) These generally run about $10.00 each.

Whether you need them for a piece of furniture, or want to use them hang on a wall for a display, these are a great item. It's clean out time for me.

• CONDITION: The condition is pretty good, please view pictures.

• You are bidding on a used, vintage or antique item. Most of our treasures are in excellent condition for their age they should not be confused with new condition unless item is stated to be new. Damage or notable flaws are mentioned in condition above but age appropriate wear should be expected.
