• DISCUSSION: The first section of the book containing an alphabetical order of potters with addresses, dates of establishment, working periods , types of ware , brief history ,location of typical specimens, and specialised reference is followed by reproductions of the marks used by each potter, arranged in chronological order within their period. The author Geoffrey Godden, has published many authoritative works on early English Pottery and Porcelain.
I was an avid English pottery collector (and seller), having over 1000 pieces of the maritime pink lustre Sunderland pottery in my collection. I have divested myself of the collection, and I am selling all the reference books I had.
• CONDITION: In fair to good condition. Signature on front page, yellowing of pages. Please see pictures.
• You are bidding on a used, vintage or antique item. Most of our treasures are in excellent condition for their age they should not be confused with new condition unless item is stated to be new. Damage or notable flaws are mentioned in condition above but age appropriate wear should be expected.
