The fairy Puck appears to 2 English children as they play in their garden and introduces them to characters from history who tell their story. This is a fun way to teach English history to children who like fantasy. This may not be one of Rudyard Kipling's better known books, but it's one of my personal favorites.

This is a Macmillan reprint. Published in London in 1964. It's number P76 in their Papermac series of classic paperbacks.

Very good condition. Paper yellowed. Cover creased. Spine has edge wear. Clean, tight, and unmarked. A rare find.
