Classical homeschoolers love original source material for their reading, and the 14th century poem Gawain and the Green Knight is a perennial favorite. Here it is offered in a readable yet gripping prose translation suitable for logic and rhetoric stage students. It's such a good translation, I would even consider reading it aloud to a grammar stage student.

This is an ex-library hardback book in very good condition. It has the original dust jacket and the mylar library jacket cover. Clean and crisp, it obviously didn't receive heavy use. It is illustrated with many full page black and white drawings by Darrell Sweet. A beautiful book!
