Michigan Man Life and Times of Kalamazoo's Al Connable
Price: $5.99

|
Al Connable: entrepreneur, local politician, University trustee, longtime Kalamazoo resident. Al's story is the story of the 20th century in a small midwestern city. He was born in 1904 and died in 1999 (the year after the publication of this book.) Written by Al himself, as told to Tom Thinnes, this book was published by beloved Allegan historian Larry Massie. It's a beautiful book with lots of pictures to feed that nostalgia for a simpler time.
Hardcover book in like new condition with dust jacket in very good condition. Dust jacket has minor edge wear. Book has textured yellow boards with silver lettering. Dust jacket is as you see in the picture. If you're interested in Southwest Michigan, you'll want this book in your collection!
