Perfect for use in homeschool or Sunday school, this reader is part of the series Learning to Read from the Bible by V. Gilbert Beers, prolific author of Bible story books for children of all ages. This book, Jesus is My Guide, is reader 4 in the series, and is at a mid-to-late 3rd grade level. Each story includes a word list, comprehension questions, and activity/application suggestions. In addition, the back of the book contains a chart listing  the doctrines and applications taught by each story and complete basic and new word lists. Each page has colorful illustrations by Robert Boehmer.

Bound in sturdy plasticized paper, this book has barely been used. It does have a name inside the front cover, highlighting on the table of contents,  and some kind of tan stain on the half title page. Otherwise clean and unmarked. Binding is solid. A wonderful book for your reading shelf!
