Blood Orchid is the third adventure of one of Stuart Woods's most engaging characters, Chief of Police Holly Barker. This time out, Holly is trying to get her life back together after the shattering loss of her fiancé. With the help of her wily Doberman, Daisy, and her father, Ham, she throws herself back into the job with a vengeance. At a local restaurant, Holly and Ham meet a gentleman new to the area, rich and dapper developer Ed Shine, who has found an evocative name for both his favourite flower and his latest real-estate venture: the "Blood Orchid." 

But before Holly can settle into her routine again, bullets crash into the home of a friend and a floater is found bobbing in the Intercoastal Waterway. Holly connects these events to the death-by-sniper-fire of two Miami businessmen and a man evading questions at a Federal agency-but she can't imagine how these violent occurrences could be related to her own quiet, unspoiled town of Orchid Beach. Joining forces with a handsome FBI agent, she tracks the clues straight to their source, only to find a scam more lucrative and more dangerous than any this idyllic town-or Holly-has ever seen.

We use Australia Post parcel post satchels to mail anywhere in Australia for a fixed price.  We use the 500g Standard (Red) Parcel Post Satchel for purchases of books under 500g and the 3kg Express Post Satchel for larger books and multiple purchases.  We encourage your selection of the 500g Express Post Satchel for the added security of parcel tracking.

The 500g satchel costs $6.00 and holds 1-2 standard sized paperbacks.  The 500g Express Post satchel costs $8.40.  The 3kg Express Post satchel costs $11.70 and holds up to 8 standard sized paperbacks and comes with the added protection of a tracking number. 

Please note - If and where available I do prefer to send items via courier for the added door to door protection.  If the service is available I will do so at no additional charge to you and your item is signed for on delivery (guaranteed)!

All books are bubble wrapped to safeguard them from getting damaged, free of charge. 

Overseas shipping is more expensive, so please contact me if you require a quote for international shipping.

I will send your item(s) the following business day after receiving payment.  The delivery time may increase during the holiday season.

However, please note that whilst all care is taken, I am not able to accept any responsibility for loss or damage which occurs during shipping.  I will gladly arrange for Registered Mail for an additional cost please email me for quotation.
