This listing is for a vintage cloisonne magnet -- a baby in a pink diaper being held aloft by the diaper pin to which it's tied.  The magnet is about 2 inches across when measured at its widest point. And it's about 1-3/4 inches from top to bottom when measured from the uppermost point to the lowest.  I have no information pertaining to who made it, the area it's from, or the timeframe.  The only thing I can tell you is that it was previously owned and cared for.  There are no scratches or chips anywhere on the surface.  .
 
I'm sure this magnet will be scooped up right away, because it's such a nice piece of cloisonne.  It's done so well that the other cloisonne magnets I've seen listed don't even come close.  Whoever made it added a lot of detail  -- like the way the knot is tied, and the way the folds in the diaper extend down from where it's tied, and the detail I can't get over is the addition of the little bits of hair to the baby's head.  This is more than just a refrigerator magnet.  It's a work of art.  I like it so much that I've been procrastinating about selling it, but it's that time of year again when extra cash is a necessity.  So I'll be offering it up to the eBay gods and hope they give it their blessing.
