Five Volume Set
Book Description: Collier & Sons, 1917, 1st edition, 2043 total pages. Very Good++ hardbacks with no dust jackets (as issued). Complete in 5 volumes. The boards are bound in military khaki-colored cloth with red leather labels bearing stamped gilt lettering on the spine. With drawings and illustrations; and each book with a different full color frontispiece. The exterior cloth on each book is extremely clean. All the books stand perfectly straight. Each is tight in its binding, no pages missing, bent or torn. There is very little wear to the cloth on any of the volumes, no tears or worn areas. Minor shelf dust and pages are lightly toned from age, but all text is clean and clear. There is some chipping at the edges of the leather label on the spine but does not affect the lettering.
