Lionel Greatest Trains Collector card set 

 

The Santa Fe F-3, New York Central's Hudson, Pennsylvania's GG-1 Electric - these are some of the locomotives that blazed through America and helped make that country great.

LIONEL has, throughout its glorious history, produced electric versions of these famous locomotives and rolling stock from the nations rails.

Now DuoCards celebrates these American legends with its 72 card series titled

Lionel's Greatest Trains.

The series focuses on the famous engines, familiar box cars, gondolas and tank cars along with some "forgotten gems"

 

That is how Duo Cards describe their card set, in this auction you get the Greatest Trains 72 card set with no cards missing and no doubles.

 

All in all a lovely encyclopedia of Lionel Trains in collectible cards, with images on the fronts of each card and detailed information on the backs.

This set was released way back in 1998 and are not too easy to find complete sets of now.
