This is a pair of antique bronze frames,  rectangle shaped and ornate. 

The oval center is approx.  3" X 2.25" and the outside measures  4 7/8" X 4 1/8".

These are heavy weighting approx. 3.5 lbs.     The back is solid and held on by screws.  The frame has a decorative hanger built into the design.

The pictures in these frames are very old prints featuring a beauty's front protrait and another's profile.  These came from a family collection, so they have been taken care of and have a soft patina just right for showing off and highlighting all of the details.  Coming from Europe I think they may be French in origin.
