This is a pair of gilded frames with matching patina.  They are either bronze or brass and have been in our family for many years. 

Round with scalloped edges   (approx. 7" round) they have round openings for pictures (4 7/8").

There are old prints in each frame.  I was looking through some old books(hard cover) and realized that some of these hard cover periodicals came with fine printed pages with art work which you could cut out and use in frames.  Most likely these came from an old print book.

The gild on this pair match.  Great items to add just a little accent to any wall.
