This is a tiny set of Acorn Salt and Pepper Shakers.   They have an excellent finish, with the base in silver tone and the acorn top in gold tone.  I think they are Italian and of course the Italians really are experts in metal finishing.   The finish is perfect and the base is quite heavy so they stand up perfectly.  The gold tone covers screw on, and the base is a beautifly silver tone ( which as you see is extremely hard to photograph).

The height is 1 3/4" and the top is approx. 1 1/4" wide.  The little acorn stem and shell markings are beautiful.
