Purchased at the Metropolitan Opera Shop comes with the September/October 2009 TheMetropolitan Opera Playbill which ws a live performance telivized in high defination movie theater transmissions. The live HD season incudes Turando November 7, Les Contes D'Hoffman December 19, Der Rosenkavalier January 9 Carmen January 16, Simon Boccanegra February 6 Hamlet March 27 and Armida May 1. The Met Live in HD series is spported by it founding sponsor The Neubauer Family Foundation.
This DVD is not the live show so do not be confused. This is a newly purchased never opened Giuseppe Verdi Aida directed by Franco Zeffirelli as shown in picuture.
