VINTAGE WALTHAM
RIVERSIDE YELLOW GOLD RAILROAD GRADE POCKET WATCH SIZE 16 1936
In this auction,
I am offering a Waltham Riverside railroad watch in excellent condition. It is a size 16. It has 21 jewels, some gold bezeled, and is
adjusted to temperature. The serial
number dates it to 1936. It is stem-wind
lever-set as you would expect from a railroad watch. Oddly, the lever is set on the left side.
The sunken
seconds register dial and blue-steeled hands are in mint condition.
The case is
marked, KEYSTONE WATCH CASE J. BOSS 10K GOLD FILLED. It is in excellent condition with no major
scratches or dents with just the usual wear for a watch of its age. The glass crystal is clear with a minor
scuff.
Overall, the
watch is in pretty much mint condition.
It was taken care of throughout its life. It winds and sets as it should. It was running well and keeping great time
but the mainspring broke so I am listing it as non-running.
US sales only,
please. If you have any questions, free
to e-me. Thanks for looking and please

THE FINE PRINT
I usually have insurance
as an option but if the item is of value, I strongly recommend it. I do pack
very well but it can be a rough journey to your house. Occasionally, I do
require insurance. I am fair with shipping. If it is costly to ship to you, that
is USPS or whatever other carrier I use, not me. I usually use Priority Mail as
I think it is the most secure. If you
wish to have insurance added to your item, please send me an e- through ebay
before making payment, and I will add it on to the invoice. I do combine shipping costs for multiple
wins.
As for returns, I do my
best to accurately describe my items. I will gladly accept returns on most
items unless otherwise stated in my auction listing. I will issue a refund for
the cost of the item less shipping costs upon receipt of the item in the same
condition as it was when first sent out. I do reserve the right to charge a 2%
restocking fee at my discretion if the item is being returned simply because of
“Buyer’s Remorse.” This is becoming a prevalent pain in the neck. “I changed my
mind” and “I simply don’t like it” don’t work for me. So, new buyers, please
think, then think again, and then three times before bidding. I try to be fair
and respectful in my ebay business and would appreciate the same in return. If
you have any concerns, ASK FIRST before bidding.
I no longer automatically
leave feedback but will upon knowing that you are pleased with your item in the
form of feedback from you.
One final note: If you
receive your item and for any reason, you are not satisfied, please contact me
through ebay message center and I will do my best to correct any problem.
Please don’t send an e- to my e-mail address directly. It may get caught in my
spam blocker. Don’t be like one petty buyer I had that received her item (a
$.99 item I might add) that was damaged in transit, waited almost 2 months with
NO communication, and then left me negative feedback. That simply is NOT FAIR! Please communicate and I
will do my best to be accommodating.
Thank you again for your
interest and if you have further questions, feel free to e-me. I will answer
you asap.
