Channel, this epic-length documentary series investigates the most
legendary and iconic mythologies belying ancient civilizations, with a
particularly strong emphasis on Greek and Roman mythologies. The thesis
of the program states that unique and incisive truths belie each
mythological story - truths that find their origins in actual historical
events, the guidelines of ancient social fabrics and archetypal sagas
of good versus evil. This particular collection contains all ten
episodes of Season One, with each episode devoted to one particular
myth. The respective subjects include: Zeus, Hercules, Hades, The
Minotaur, Medusa, Beowulf, Tolkien's Monsters, Thor and Odysseus.
