Defenders of the Faith are Wicked DJ Markie Mark & partner in crime Neil Harris.

Following the wake caused by last year's 'Kola Kola' on Grayhound, the Defenders are back with another dancefloor roaster to snag a place in DJ crates for months to come.

'Kola Kola' earned them the praise of a cross section of world-class jocks including Laurent Garnier, Fatboy Slim, Ashley Beedle, Richard Dorfmeister and Josh Wink, with their distinct sound being likened to lauded electro disco legend Arthur Russell in Jockey Slut magazine.

'The Fallen' comes in three versions. Side A serves up the 'Main Pass' with all eyes on the dancefloor. A driving instrumental house take on the Defenders style, with free form bass and jazz keys offering melodic counterpoint to the dub house beats..

Side B's 'Get Up mix' comes in a broken beat style, making use of prophetic spoken word whose mystic soul message is appreciated in these uncertain times.
