This Hi8 8mm Sony Handycam CCD-TRV65 was Made in Japan. The "NightShot" feature is Sony's infrared Night Vision" and the "Steady Shot" for a stable clear video. This is a sturdy, high quality 8mm/Hi8 XR video camera which will playback older tapes and produces high quality HI FI sound. It is a rugged, no-nonsense video camera with many valuable features.
The TRV65 utilizes a large color viewfinder and many manual settings for the user to shoot with. But, It also has full auto mode for those who just want to shoot video without worrying about anything "manual".
SONY no longer makes these great HI8 8mm video cameras but this is an opportunity to purchase this high end model in working condition that is also useful to transfer your old Hi8 or 8mm tape library to PC or DVD. It also acts as a VCR for playing back your tapes on TV or recording your favorite programs onto 8mm tapes.
Convert your Hi8 8mm tapes and memories now before these types of Hi8 video cameras eventually become harder to find. The HI8 XR video quality is great and the nightshot feature is very cool. Take videos in the pitch dark!!
Note: The A/V outputs and S video output will allow the user to convert 8mm and Hi 8 video tapes to DVD with a DVD recorder or if you have a TV tuner in your computer you can transfer to PC. "Hauppauge" or "Easy Cap" both make a converter that will allow you to transfer through the USB port on your PC.
