I made these Angels of hope about 20 years ago. It started when the Best Man for my wedding and my dear friend passed away from Aids. It broke my heart that I didn't even know he was sick with it. I decided then to start making Angels for Aids and other fund raising ideas. This would make a wonderful gift for someone who is either fighting addiction or has recovered. It can also be used in support of LGBT support. I branched out from there and created many different angels with many different colors of ribbons for other charities. I made a Breast Cancer, Lost Children and other Awareness Angels. At one time they were being sold in over 400 stores across the US. She has many different meanings to me for many different causes. She is made by casting the original Sterling Silver one into Fine Pewter, no lead and then plated with 24k gold and then an antique put on for detail. Size is 2" tall, this one has great detail on the wings. The pin back is soldered on for strength.
