Tiffany & Co Limoges GDA 9"Shell Bowl "Tiffany Garden" Tiffany & Co Limoges GDA 9" Shell Bowl "Tiffany Garden"   This is a beautiful vintage-(ca1900-1953) Tiffany & Co., Porcelain Body, Shell Bowl, Hand Decorated in the "Tiffany Garden" pattern, with an incised handle area. The Bowl was manufactured by GDA, (Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot) 28 Rue Donzelet, Limoges , France (1886 to present) The Bowl was manufactured by GDA under contract and exclusively for Tiffany & Co.'s retail stores.     Description: White, Porcelain Body, Shell Bowl with an incised handle. The bowl is hand decorated with a Flower & Butterfly motif throughout the service area and the Bowl is trimmed in a green over glaze at the exterior rim area. The bowl stands at 2.00" tall X 9'00 diameter and weighs 1.75 lbs. The underneath of the Bowl is marked: Tiffany & Co. Limoges France, "Tiffany Garden" GDA, Limoges France (see photo). NOTE TO BIDDERS: The fact that the manufacturer used green glaze Markings (writing) underneath the Bowl, indicates (based on some research that) this piece could have been made as early as 1900 and no later than 1953.   Condition: EXCELLENT!! No chips, no crazing, no loss of decoration.   Domestic INSURANCE is Mandatory and seller ships via USPS Priority Mail.                 PAYMENT TERMS: USA: I accept PayPal only.
