REVENGE (1964) - REMASTERED
Adauchi - A tragic drama about a young man who feels confined by Bushido, the way of the samurai, who tries to escape the chains of his position, only to be forced to die.
When Shogunate Inspector Magodayu finds a slight bit of dirt on the point of a spear Shinpachi (Nakamura) over hears his remarks and starts an argument with him. The Inspector who feels insulted by such a low-ranking underling without a title sends Shinpachi a letter of challenge to a duel. Shinpachi kills Magodayu and the two families begin a series of continuous revenge duels.
Tension mounts as the story builds to a violent climax, as blood must pay for blood if the clan is to survive!
