Ken - Based on a novel by Yukio Mishima - The story revolves around Kokubu Jiro, a university student who is a kendo genius (traditional Japanese sword fighting).
Despite being young he is asked to lead his school's kendo team as the captain in an upcoming championship. But for him, kendo is more then just a sport, it's a way of life, and he takes this responsibility very serious.
While on a training trip before the championship, the team is subjected to Kokubu's grueling training regimen and soon rebel against his authority, bringing them to a collision course with their captain......
