Kunisada Chuji
- The tale of a roving warrior's vengeful quest to restore
justice to the village where he was born. Kunisada Chuji, the gambling
swordsman, is loved by the weak and feared by the strong.
After returning to his village he finds the people suffering from bad crops and oppressive governmental policies. During his visit, his sister commits suicide after being raped by the local magistrate, and her fiance is murdered by officials. Chuji's wrath explodes. He breaks into the government warehouse, steals the rice and gives it to the starving farmers. From then on he becomes Japan's Robin Hood.
