Shingo Juban Shobu (SHINGO'S ORIGINAL CHALLENGE Part 1 & 2) - These are the first two parts of the series in which a young Samurai (Aoi Shingo) learns that he is, in fact, the illegitimate son of the Shogun.
Hoping to reunite with his birth father, Shogun Yoshimune, he heads for the castle. However, the reunion never takes place as Shingo finds himself the target of a conspiracy. Will he ever be able to meet his father? These two parts are presented as one film which opens the series, and introduces the violent, yet soulful journey of young Shingo.
