Otsuyu: Kaidan botan-doro – (aka The Haunted Lantern) inspired by the Chinese influenced Botan Doro, a story in which a young man falls in love with the spirit of a beautiful young woman.
Shinzaburo has been plagued by a recurring nightmare for so long that he begins to think that it may be real. In his dreams he sees a lonely young woman commit suicide, then vanish in a rain of blood. As the line between his dreams and reality begin to blur, Shinzaburo becomes convinced that this woman's ghost is somehow following him, looking for revenge against those who wronged her.
