EDWARDIAN PICKLE CASTOR WITH CUT GLASS INSERT Edwardian PICKLE CASTOR A silverplated PICKLE CASTOR with a cut crystal glass insert and lid, faceted glass drip cup and silverplated pickle fork.  The Edwardian period castor set was purchased from an Antiques market in England. The castor frame is of nickle plated silver and measures 9" tall from bottom of ball feet to top of handle.  The base is marked E P N S, signed Berkricy Place (I think) and hallmarked. The pickle jar insert is 4 3/4" tall from the base to top of lid.  The jar and lid are clear crystal with a banded diamond pattern cut into their sides.  The jar has a ground bottom The drip cup is 1 1/2" tall clear glass with faceted side. The silver plated pickle fork is 5 3/4" long and marked E P N S. The pickle castor is in very good condition with no cracks, hairlines or breaks.  There are only two small chips to note on the inside edge of the jar.   The silver plate needs a good polish. This would make a good jam or preserve server on a contemporary table. All of our items are vintage or antique and may not be perfect. All are sold As Is and As Noted.
