The center channel is without question the most important channel in a home theatre system. Nothing is more frustrating than missing key pieces of critical dialogue while waching a movie! It's true that the best way to improve any audio system is to upgrade the speakers. To improve home theatre, upgrade the center channel speaker!
Whether you are using Dolby Pro-Logic or the more advanced discrete 5.1, 6.1, 7.1 or even 8.1 Dolby or DTS surround, the majority of sound and nearly all the dialogue is directed through the center channel.  That’s why you need a high-end speaker in the center, and you’ll be hard pressed to find a better one than this, anywhere near the price.
