Set of 2 Morton Umbrella
Girl Ceramic Coffee Mugs 1956 & 1968
Both mugs are a matched
set from set of 4 from a promotion by Morton Salt in the late 1960's,when they
introduced their new Umbrella Girl. Unique
graphics, each with the date of the
graphics on the front. It says: When it Rains,
it Pours on all of them
The 1956 mug shows her
in a more modern dress, pigtails and new shoes, Color was added, she is now
yellow and blue on white. The 1968 mug graphics
introduces the girl we all recognize today. It is also yellow and blue on
white.
Mugs are in excellent condition with
no evident chips or cracks. There is one area ion 1956 mug where the paint dripped during manufacturing. Made in China
Cups measure 3 3/4" tall and
3" wide across the top and holds 10 oz
