   Traditional methods of installing rigid foam in ceilings can be time consuming and costly. Up until now there have been few options for creating and maintaining the mandatory 1" air space, which allows the air to move freely from the eave vent up to the ridge vent. One inch furring strips, made onsite, would have to be secured in place along with the foam board. Manufactured airways may not always protect the dimensional integrity needed to keep the air from moving freely

The Corwin Smart Clip™ is a patented molded plastic product designed and engineered to optimally ventilate and insulate attic and rafter/truss cavities just below the roof deck.

 

The Corwin Smart Attic Ventilation System^TM is a combination of  The Corwin Smart Clips^TM and The Corwin Smart Foam^TM with Radiant Barrier found together in The Corwin E-Z Pac^TM attached to the underside of the roof deck in the attic area from the vented soffit to the roof ridge vent in order to create a one (1) inch gap (AIR SPACE) between the underside of the roof deck and the Corwin materials. This one inch air gap that results creates convection current between the underside of the roof deck and The Corwin Smart Foam^TM from the vented soffit to the ridge vent.
