Vintage 60's Sears Silvertone 1481 Guitar Amplifier
This is an exceptionally nice Silvertone 1481 and sounds fantastic!!

It’s in great condition with just a small amount of oxidation on the control panel and the handle ends and a little dusty on the inside. It has not have a lot of play, mostly sat in storage.
It was recently tested and sounds great!!!!! Silvertone Tube Amplifiers were manufactured by the Danelectro Company in the 1950's and 1960's for Sears Roebuck Co. Assembled with American labor, hand wired and soldered point to point. Model 1481 was available from the years 1961-1968. 5 watts of power with an 8 inch speaker. The 1481 was Sears competitive answer to the “Fender Champ” . The chassis control panel has 2 working inputs -on/off switch-volume and tone controls. Amp is light weight and measures 17”x7”x14” inches.
