Vintage Crescent Silver Plate Enamel Lined Ice Bucket with Handles
This piece was a wedding gift in the early 1960's
Elegant quality made vintage Crescent silver plate Ice Bucket
Approximate mesasurements: 5 5/8” tall without lid & 7 1/2” with lid; it is 6 3/4" diameter not including handles & 9” handle to handle. Weighs 3 lbs 4 oz.
Inside is heavy-duty enamel over glass to keep ice cubes cold much longer
The bottom of the ice bucket clearly bears the Crescent maker's trademark. Crescent was a well known silver piece manufacturer in the USA from 1922 to 1977.
Very good vintage condition. It actually looks like it was never used but probably displayed. There are no surface scratches, chips or cracks on the inside enamel and only some minor surface scratches & marks on the outside, lid, and the bottom. It also needs a good polishing.
They just don't make them like this anymore!!
