The Long Playing Record Guide by:Warren De Motte. This a Dell First Edition, copyright in 1955. Printed in the United States. This book is the result of an immense amount of research, which must have given him a comparative sense of values in judging the quality both of performance and also of recording techniques. Wisely he analyses separately performance and recording. The individualistic music-lover will naturally make his own evaluation, but this book is an invaluable point of departure and can save the reader's time and energy, showing what recordings exist and who were the artists who made them.
The book has antiquish looking pages. It is in great shape, with no tears or rips in the pages. The book has minor wear.
