Arthur Fiedler, The Colorful Mr. Pops-The Man And His Music by: Robin Moore.  The book is about the life of the most active, the most popular, the most colorful conductor of classical and "pops" music now living.  Mr. Fiedler has been guest conductor with hundreds of symphonies in the United States, Europe and on all continents.  His Boston Pops recordings have outsold those of all other symphony orchestras; and he is regarded with special affection for singlehandedly founding the Boston Esplanade Concerts, this country's first free outdoor symphony.
