Vitabase Serrazimes is a unique proteolytic blend of enzymes, derived from Aspergillus melleus and Aspergillus oryzae, edible fungi. It is designed to be an effective alternative to Serrapeptidase and is safe.
Serrapeptidase was orginally isolated from Serratia marcescens, which is often occurs in nature as a pathogenic bacterium. It was isolated from the intestines of the Japanese silkworm. In recent years, it has been employed to assist the respiratory and cardiovascular systems, and is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It has received much attention from various scientific studies and it has been demonstrated to be helpful in pain relief as well as arthritis. Because of safety concerns, it is not available for sale in the United States.
In contrast, Vitabase Serrazimesis is extracted from plants that have long been known to be safe, while exhibiting the same capabilities of Serrapeptidase. Laboratory analysis has determined that Vitabase Serrazimes has a 1:1 equivalent of Serrapeptidase activity. It has 20,000 proteolytic units per capsule.
