Break off the anger and strife. Break off all of our addictions Lord. Break off our pride. Break off the lustful. Break off the idolatry. Break off our complacency and our neutrality. Invade our comfort zones. Break off the idea that we can do things ourselves. Break down our walls Lord and break through our closed doors. We need you Jesus. Break us. Bring us to the place of repentance. Tear us down and build us into a new people. O’ God that we might be humbled before you and our haughty spirits broken. Jesus, break the very core of us. Break us so that you can use us. Heal our minds and change our thinking. Lord heal our hearts. Give us the strength, Lord. Remove the veil that we might see and put on us the garment of praise. Bring us into your Glory and into your presence because where you are we want to be. Make a way Lord and bring us into a better place with you. Work and move how you choose, but Lord don’t stop working. Don’t stop moving. Don’t stop showing your power. Lord, don’t stop revealing yourself. Don’t stop working in our lives. Don’t stop invading our minds. Don’t stop healing us. Don’t stop forming us. Make us like you. Break us Lord!
