Hard to Find Vintage Ceramic Cowboy Boot Beer Stein!

Measures 7" Heel to Rim  6" Heel to Toe 3 1/2" Diameter 

 

This stein appears to be from the 50's. I don't think it's from "Occupied Japan" since it doesn't say so. There are no makers marks on the bottom, only the JAPAN sticker that you can see in Pic 7. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, or scratches. I really don't think it was ever used. There are a few factory flaws (mainly drips in the glaze and a couple of tiny rough spots) but nothing too obvious. It is fully glazed inside and out, so it's not only decorative, you can drink out of it too! The brown spots on the inside that you see in Pic 6 are an example of the "drips in the glaze" I was talking about. This beauty is clean as a whistle and ready for display or use!
