Blue and White Topaz Ring

Set in 10 Karat Yellow GOLD

Size 7

The center stone is a Blue Topaz which is a cushion cut that measures 3/8 inch x 3/8 inch square, so it is a fairly large stone

Total ring weight = 6.0 grams (see the last photo showing this ring on the scale)

I don't recall the carat weight of the stones in most of my rings since I have always purchased jewelry that is beautiful and striking to me, tending to like the look of larger stones, but not really caring about their carat weight.

All 20 of the smaller accent stones surrounding the centered Blue Topaz stone are white topaz, and look like daimonds. 16 of them surround the large center stone, and 4 are set into the substantial gold band, two on either side of the basket. One of the smaller white topaz stones in the band has dropped out, so it is missing, but could easily be replaced by a jeweler making this ring worth hundreds more dollars than what it will sell for as it is here.

This is a very, very pretty ring.

I got this at a fine jewelry store on St. Thomas while island hopping with my late husband in 2008. I have always had a kind of revolving door of beautiful fine jewelry, keeping only my most cherished sentimental gifts forevermore, as there are only so many fingers on which to wear rings. And with lots to enjoy and marvel at the thought of having or trading up for over the many years, I am inclinded to let go of a few to make room for more!
