with a Rare Leather Handle

We can't say how long it's been carried around, or where it has been, but we do know that the gentleman who owned this was a Verteran of WW2 and drove halftrack for General Patton in Germany until he sustained injuries during combat that he was awarded the Purple Heart for. Subsequent to that time, the fellow, and this lunch pail, lived out the rest of their lives on the family farm in Upstate New York. All stories point to him being a lovely, gracious fellow, and we are pleased to be offering some of his personal affects to appreciative collectors.
