JOHN STODDARD'S LECTURES, 14 volumes, complete...This here set was published by Balch Brothers in 1909…...Mercy!!!......Set includes the complete ten volume set, plus four supplemental volumes……Them books is even older than Bob Dole!!!!...This here Mr. Stoddard useta travel 'round the world, and he'd give lectures on what he'd seen...An' he told it like he thought it was...It says that this here set is illustrated and EMBELLISHED with his views of the world's famous people and places...And they is a whole bunch of real nice pictures, some of 'em even takes up a whole page...I'll tell you what I think - if you wanta see the world, but ain't got the money - then buy these here books!!!!....

    DESCRIPTION - The books is bound in leather, with marbled boards and endpapers, and gold letterin' on the spines….....

    CONDITION - The set is in overall good condition......The covers and pages is all still real secure...And the pictures and words is all there...They is some wear and chippin' on the covers, mainly at the top and bottom of the spines and cover corners, and cover edges...…And one book has a chunk of leather torn from the bottom of the spine, and another book has a torn area at the spine bottom…....But I tell you, tho it ain't perfect - this here is a purty good set......And it looks right nice a-settin' on the shelf.......
