CAPITOL COOK BOOK              A RARE FIND

Capitol Cook Book is the property of the Seybold Guest Ranch Mineral Wells, Texas. Published  in the 70's, Mrs. Seybold purchased the book to obtain some of the "good ole" down south recipes she would serve her guest at the ranch. Many city slickers, celebrities, polititions, and just even plain ordinary folk would come and stay at the Seybold Guest Ranch to experience just what the wild west was like.  

Just so happened, the publisher of this book, Sue Creighton, is also from Mineral Wells, Texas, where the Seybold Guest Ranch was located. 

Ouoted on inside flap of book  "With a few exceptions, there are recipes from every living former Texas Governor's wife, dating back to Mrs. Dan Moody in 1926, each lady Senator, the wife of each State Senator, and the wives of state officials who have served since 1960."

This book is in pristine condition with dustjacket.
