This is a beautiful new writing instrument from Bill's Talented Turnings.  This pen is a replica of the vintage Parker Duofold Pen.  The ink in extended and retracted by twisting the top.  The Wood is a beautiful piece of Amboyna Burl.  Amboyna Burl comes from Asia.  It is one of the most exotic burls of the world, used mostly for high-end veneers. This is the burl found on the dashboard of the Mercedes Mai Bock.   Amboyna burls are found on Narra and Paduak trees in South East Asia.
This treasure was once horded by Chinese Emperors and never permitted for commoners.  It is one of the most rare and expensive burls.
