Bill's Talented Turnings

This is a beautiful new writing instrument from Bill's Talented Turnings. The pen pictured is the pen you get. This pen is called a Baron Chrome Rollerball Pen.  This pen is made from a  beautiful highly figured piece of Exhibition Quality Amboyna Burl.  It has burl eyes and figure 360 degrees around the pen.  I hand turned the pen on the wood lathe in my studio workshop. The wood is finished with several coats of CA Glue. This is the toughest, long lasting finish I have been able to find. The wood will stay bright and shinny for many years. I have personally carried a pen with this type of finish in my pocket for 4 years and the wood is just as shinny as the day I made it. This pen is a great conversation piece and truly a piece of art. The pen pictured is a rollerball pen. It comes suppied with one quality German rollerball black ink cartridge.  Refills are readily available at office supply stores..
