Bill's Talented Turnings

 

This is a beautiful new writing instrument from Bill's Talented Turnings.  The pen pictured is the pen you get in this auction.  This is a high end very prestigious looking pen.  This El Grande pen has been made from a beautiful Checkerboard segmented Bloodwood and Bocote blank. 

 It was turned on my wood lathe in my studio workshop.  The wood has been finished with 8 coats of CA glue and polished to perfection.  The finish is slick as glass.  CA Glue finish is the most durable finish I have been able to find.  I will stay shiney for many years.  This is a great conversation piece and truly a piece of art.  The pen pictured is a rollerball pen.  I comes supplied with a quality black Hauser rollerball refill.  Refills can be found at most office supply stores.
