This is a beautiful new writing instrument from Bill's Talented Turnings.  The Wood is a beautiful piece of dyed Maple Burl.  It is full of burl eyes in the wood. It was comercially dyed under vacuum to pull the dye though the blanks.  I turn each one of my pens one at a time.  The Chrome plating on the metal parts of this pen will wear for many years.  This is a very comfortable pen to write with.  The wood is finished with CA Glue and it is polished to a high gloss.  This finish is the most durable finish I have be able to find .  This pen would be a fine addition to anyones collection.
