This is a beautiful new writing writing instrument from Bill's Talented Turnings.  The pen is called an Atlas or Polaris.  It kind of a bullet shape.  It has a very smooth clip on it for placing it easily in and out of your pocket or purse.  The wood is a beautiful piece of highly figured walnut which accents the satin plating on this pen beautifully. I turn each one of my pens one at a time.  The Satin plating on the metal parts of this pen will wear for a years.  This is a very comfortable pen to write with.  The wood is hand finished with CA Glue.  This is the most durrable finish I have been able to find for pens.  It will stay bright and shinny for years with regular use. I have personally carried a pen with this type of finish daily for over 4 years.  The finish is still as shinny as the day I made it.   This pen would be a fine addition to anyones collection. It takes a parker style refill easily found at most office supply stores.  I guarentee that you will be satisfied with this pen.
