Vintage Lemon Yellow Hand Embroidered Tablecloth and Napkins Depicts Chinese Peasants Offered in this auction is a lovely vintage lemon yellow hand embroidered tablecloth and napkins. I picked this set up at an estate sale several years ago. I call this set the "good earth" because the embroidery depicts what appear to be Chinese peasant adults and children in colorful costumes with some doing farm chores. The embroidery is skillfully done (see photos). Four of the eight depictions on the tablecloth are repeated (smaller) on the napkins. Even the hems on the tablecloth and napkins are beautifully hand done. The tablecloth measures 42 inches square and the napkins measure 13 3/4 inches square. The condition of the set is excellent. No stains or other flaws noted. This set would make a sweet and unusual addition to your vintage embroidered tablecloth collection.   Shipping is $3.50 USPS First Class.
